WeightLossNinja.org started as a destination to discuss various diet pills and their efficacy.
Over time, we found that while many diet pills work, there are many more important things to think about when it comes to weight loss. Activity, nutrition, and a good night’s sleep will go a long way towards losing weight, and over time, we’ve shifted focus to more of a “diet and health” approach rather to just rating supplements.
Our core focus is managing diet, weight, and energy as we reach adult hood. We’ve experienced the ups and downs of life, and this blog details how those factors have affected our overall health.

Michelle Purcell
Before Michelle became a health coach and co-founded her own wellness business, Michelle fell victim to fad diets just like we all do. She had tried everything to lose weight and while some things worked, they never had a lasting effect. A new approach needed to be taken and she thought that would be through molding her body to become a fitness competitor. As she didn’t know where to start, she decided to get the help of a coach that would guide her through her journey. After implementing a rigid diet and committing herself to working out for three hours a day, six days a week, her body started to transform and she started to be noticed at her shows. She moved on from one coach to another in order to catapult her success and had immediate regrets. She was on a 600 calorie diet per day that for over one year that sent her to the hospital in need of serious medical attention. She decided then that she was going to take matters in her own hands and learn how to help herself and countless others so they would not have to be subjected to the same experience. In the six years that she co-ran her business, she has worked with numerous clients who had heart diseases, diabetes, PCOS, insulin resistance, sibo and more. All of her clients came to her to better their health and lose weight. What they didn’t know was that they all had an underlying health condition which caused them to not be able to lose weight. With Michelle’s determination to help others, she helped uncover those health conditions, helped clients adapt a new relationship with food, and created a feasible food plan that helped with their illnesses which they enjoyed.
