  2. Hi Phil. To answer your question, lemons have the highest concentration of citrate of any citrus fruit. All citrus fruits are recommended, just a personal preference on taste. Drinking water with lemon is NOT a magical cure-all. I think its true benefits lie in being a healthy replacement to sugar-loaded commercial orange juices and/or soda. Also I question whether the majority of people truly consume 8-10 glasses of water a day. Hydration is key to optimum health and if adding a little natural flavoring helps you with your daily water intake, I’m all for it.
